Bruno Takes Promotions to the Street

July 9th, 2009

moviejunkieonline.com

Comedian Sacha Cohen continues his role playing with his upcoming movie, Bruno. The movie premiers July 10th and is expected to be even more controversial than his last movie. Aside from appearing on the 2009 MTV movie awards with Eminem, Cohen has been involved in various other activities and events to promote the movie. Last month, Bruno was found in the streets of London debuting his movie by wearing a bearskin hat, military-inspired sleeveless red vest, and very skintight black hotpants and boots. It’s too bad there weren’t enough of these custom vests to go around, but I’m sure there is plenty of promotional apparel online that Bruno fans can buy.

Heineken Lights Up the Stage

March 20th, 2009

At the Heineken Jammin’ Festival in Venice, the light display was made to portray a glass of Heineken, from an airial perspective.  Now I’m sure the beer served was Heineken but I wonder if they gave away Heineken promotional koozies as attendees entered the arena.

Life’s Too Short for the Wrong Job!

September 25th, 2008

Think your job couldn’t get any worse? At least you’re not tallying figures inside an ATM or scrunched up inside of a vending machine! These ads from a popular job-search site have gained rapid notoriety all over Europe for their witty, eye-catching optical illusions.. Several similar ads appear on the side of  photo booths, laundry machines in Laundromats and ATMs.

My favorite is this ad seen on the side of a gas pump:

I can’t decide whether this guy’s expression agony has more to do with outlandish gas prices or with the fact that he just really, really hates his job. Either way, his situation won’t last long as there seems to be a cigarette of some sort hanging out of his mouth and generally, gasoline and cigarettes don’t mix well. I wonder if there’s an “after” picture?

Bucktooth Pacifier = Funny Babies?

March 16th, 2008

bucktooth pacifier

This is kinda funny, although babies by themselves are kinda funny anyways. This was done as a promotion for an orthodontia clinic, somewhere outside of the US where one could actually get away with doing a promotion like this.
